Getting started
- Download Origami on your iPhone from the App Store.
- Sign in with Apple. You don’t need a phone number or a password.
- Start your free trial. New subscribers get 7 days free, then $6.99 a month. Cancel anytime.
- Send your first school email or WhatsApp message. The steps for each are below.
Connect WhatsApp
In Origami, tap Connect WhatsApp. WhatsApp opens with a message filled in. Send it. After that, forward a text, photo or voice note to Origami in WhatsApp, like you would to a friend. For a PDF, use the Share button. Only the messages you forward reach Origami.
Find your Origami email address
Open Origami and go to Settings. Your Origami email address is there, with a Copy button. Forward school emails to that address.
Photos, screenshots and PDFs
Tap the Share button in Photos, Files or any app. Pick Origami, then open Origami to finish.
Email us
Email [email protected]. Tell us what you were trying to do and what happened.
Canceling your subscription
Your subscription is billed through your Apple account. To cancel it:
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
- Tap your name, then Subscriptions.
- Tap Origami, then Cancel Subscription.
To avoid the first charge, cancel at least 24 hours before your free trial ends. After you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
Restoring a purchase
Changed phones, or reinstalled the app? Open Origami, go to Settings, and tap Restore Purchases. Use the Apple account you subscribed with. If your subscription does not appear, email us for help.
Deleting your account and data
Delete your account from Settings in Origami. Deletion is permanent. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel your subscription, so cancel it in iPhone Settings too. For help, email [email protected].
