About Origami

Send Origami the message. It saves the plan. Origami is an iPhone app for busy parents. Send it a school email or WhatsApp message and it saves the date, time and place.

Why we made it

School plans arrive from everywhere. A long email from the school, a message in the class WhatsApp group, a PDF swim schedule, a photo of a letter from the backpack. The one line you need, the date and what to bring, is often buried in the middle.

Origami is for the parent who keeps track of all of it. You send the message, and the plan is saved in Origami with the message it came from. No retyping.

What it does

Origami picks out the date, time, place and what to bring, and saves the plan. If something important is unclear, it asks you. Send a later change and the plan you saved is updated.

It remembers details you’ve shared before, such as your dentist’s address, and you can see and change what it keeps.

Origami uses AI and can get a detail wrong. You can change or delete any plan.
